Impact Statements

"I was a Junior in Edina High School when the March 2022 anti-Asian, antisemitic incident happened and EAAA was just a small group of students, parents, and community brainstorming in Southdale Library. I was proud to represent EAAA and our mission at the One Town, One Family Community Conversation (June 2022), Human Rights & Relations Commission (HRRC) How to Stop the Hate (October 2022), Kare 11 News Feature (December 2022), and help launch EAAA’s Inaugural AAPI Month Festival (May 2023). Now a Sophomore at the University of Southern California, watching EAAA continue has been so incredibly valuable. I feel so grateful to have been a founding member of the organization, seeing it take root in the community and flourish. At its core EAAA has always put community first, with every member contributing their time, effort, and lived experience to help the organization improve. It has been a labor of love that has been directly applied to the community with strong intention and impact."
